Abstract
Comparar la presencia de injuria pulmonar en recién nacidos prematuros menores de 34 semanas de edad gestacional con síndrome de dificultad respiratoria que usan ventilación mecánica convencional versus presión positiva continua de la vía aérea. MÉTODOS: La búsqueda electrónica de artículos se llevó a cabo en: Medline-Pubmed, Scopus, Web of Science y Embase. Se tuvo en cuenta artículos de revistas indexadas en idioma castellano e inglés, sin restricciones de fecha de publicación. Obtuvimos 908 artículos,160 fueron marcados como inelegibles por la herramienta de automatización de Rayyan, siendo eliminados. De los 748 restantes, se detectaron 126 artículos duplicados que se excluyeron. Por lo que, un total de 622 artículos fueron revisados por título y resumen y posteriormente, 22 a texto completo. Finalmente, 7 artículos cumplieron todos los requisitos y fueron incluidos en esta revisión, constituidos por 3 ensayos y 4 cohortes. El riesgo de sesgo se realizó a través de las escalas RoB2 y Newcasttle-Ottawa respectivamente. El análisis estadístico se llevó a cabo en RevMan 5.4. RESULTADOS: Se demostró que el uso de CPAP en prematuros menores de 34 semanas con síndrome de distrés respiratorio reduce el riesgo de eventos de injuria pulmonar en comparación al uso de ventilación mecánica. CONCLUSIONES: La presente revisión afirma que el uso de CPAP reduce el riesgo de eventos de injuria pulmonar en comparación a la ventilación mecánica en el tratamiento de prematuros menores de 34 semanas con síndrome de distrés respiratorio.
