Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

\nABSTRACT
\n
\nQuarter life crisis is a phenomenon experienced by individuals as a response to the emergence of instability, continuous change, many choices, and also a sense of panic due to helplessness. For final year students, this crisis usually starts when individuals start to mess around with their final project by writing a paper or other graduation requirements in the form of a project. Religiosity is said to be able to prevent the emergence of depression and aggressive behavior in a person during a quarter life crisis. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between religiosity and the quarter-life crisis in final year students at UIN Walisongo Semarang. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach. The population of this research is students who are in the final semester at UIN Walisongo Semarang aged 18 to 29 years with a sample of 112 people. Data was collected using a questionnaire and data analysis using product moment correlation analysis. The results showed a correlation value of -0.212 with a significance value of 0.025 (P < 0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a negative and significant correlation between the religiosity variable and the quarter life crisis in final year students at UIN Walisongo.
