Modelos de calidad del e-Learning: Hacia la aceptacion del eLearning como enfoque formativo en las culturas institucionales de las IES

Abstract
La evaluación de la calidad del eLearning ha entrado de lleno como objeto de debate dentro de sistemas regionales (por ejemplo, la Unión Europea), nacionales e institucionales de evaluación de la calidad educativa. Este fenómeno se debe a la rápìda expansión del eLearning como sistema de formación integrado, particularmente aunque no exclusivamente, a la educación superior. La formación de expertos en calidad requiere, sin lugar a dudas, una buena comprensión de los modelos, prácticas y problemáticas ligadas a la evaluación de la calidad del eLearning como objeto de evaluación integrado a los sistemas de calidad educativa. El itinerario formativo que hemos considerado parte del concepto de calidad en la educación superior y focaliza la calidad del eLearning desde la exploración de una serie de modelos existentes y aplicados en varios contextos regionales (US y Canadá, Unión Europea, América Latina....) y en relación a organismos de calidad educativa. Los participantes tendrán la ocasión de analizar comparativamente dichos modelos, considerando las dimensiones social, económica, cultural de las concepciones y orientaciones ideológicas de calidad educativa. Se promoverá la reflexión, discusión y la puesta en común de dichos elementos en referencia al propio contexto de actuación profesional, considerando las perspectivas enriquecedoras de una clase global UOC.
