Abstract
In 1923 or 1924 Mabel Palmer, DC was contacted by the editor of Broadway Brevities who threatened to do harm to BJ Palmer, DC and his school, Palmer College of Chiropractic, is they did not support his magazine and endeavors. It was a blackmail scheme that had been used to extort money from prominent Americans for several years.
