Mahasiswa tingkat akhir merupakan individu yang memasuki masa peralihan dari
\nmasa remaja menuju masa dewasa atau yang disebut fase emerging adulthood.
\nPada masa ini mahasiswa tingkat akhir menjalani berbagai tugas dan peran seperti
\nmenyelesaikan skripsi, mulai merencanakan karir dan pekerjaan hingga menjalin
\nnasmara. Jika tugas-tugas tersebut berjalan dengan baik akan memunculkan
\nkebahagiaan, namun jika tidak hal ini pada akhirnya memunculkan krisis pada
\nmahasiswa tingkat akhir, krisis ini disebut quarter life crisis atau krisis
\nseperempat baya dengan ciri-ciri merasa khawatir dan cemas, putus asa, ragu
\ndengan kemampuan diri sendiri dan juga kebingungan dalam menentukan arah
\nhidup. Salah satu pemicu mahasiswa tingkat akhir mengalami quarter life crisis
\nialah social comparison. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi
\npengaruh social comparison terhadap quarter life crisis mahasiswa tingkat akhir
\nUIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. penelitian ini menggunakan
\npendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 371 subjek. Hasil penelitian
\nmenunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dengan niali signifikansi yang
\ndiperoleh dari uji t sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 yang mana semakin tinggi tingkat social
\ncompariosn pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat
\nquarter life crisis yang dialaminya. Lalu dari uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh
\nnilai R square sebesar 0,537 yang menunjukkan bahwa variabel Y (quarter life
\ncrisis) dipengaruhi oleh variabel X (social comparison) sebesar 53,7% dan 42,3%
\ndipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti didalam penelitian ini.
