Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

PMWS was first described i\nn Canada and reported as an emerging disease in\npig farms worldwide. In Venezuela the disease was d\niagnosed in herds of the midwest in 2003. In order \nto determine the presence of PCV2 in our country, 18 s\namples of superficial inguinal lymph of pigs with\nsymptoms consistent with PMWS from Aragua, Lara and\n Yaracuy states, were analyzed by Polymerase\nChain Reaction and Restriction Fragment Length Poly\nmorphism (PCR - RFLP) specific for Open Reading\nFrame 2 (ORF 2) of PCV2. All samples of tissues fro\nm pigs with PMWS symptoms (18/18) were positive for\nPCV2 by PCR. Using a RFLP analysis specific for ORF\n2 PCV2, the sub-genotypes 2A and 2D were found\ncirculating in the sampled farms. This study is the\n first report of detection and genotyping of PCV2 i\nn\nVenezuela using a PCR - RFLP assay.br\nKey words: Type 2 circovirus, Genotype, Venezuela, \nRFLPbrbr

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
