Abstract
Deux défis sportifs non compétitifs consistent en la réalisation d’épreuves de course à pied exclusivement réservées aux femmes à priori sédentaires. Malgré la grande popularité et les multiples bénéfices connus associés à une participation des événements sportifs, peu d’études, par surcroit québécoises, ont mesuré les effets à court, moyen et long terme de la participation des femmes. L’objectif principal est d’évaluer les variables physiques, psychologiques et sociales liées aux deux défis sportifs « Une fille qui court » et « Expérience Pyrénées ». L’étude sera réalisée à l’aide d’un devis mixte longitudinal à mesures répétées comportant cinq phases et faisant appel à des questionnaires électroniques (n=2 000) et des entrevues individuelles avec la partenaire et les coureuses dans les Pyrénées (n=18). Pour la partenaire, les résultats permettront de dépasser les observations réalisées sur le terrain et de vérifier de façon empirique l’atteinte de l’objectif visé par la présente étude. // Two non-competitive sporting challenges consist of running events exclusively reserved for women who are presumably sedentary. Despite the great popularity and the multiple known benefits associated with participation in sporting events, few studies, especially those from Quebec, have measured the short, medium and long-term effects of women's participation. The main objective is to evaluate the physical, psychological and social variables related to the two sporting challenges "Une fille qui court" and "Expérience Pyrénées". The study will be conducted using a longitudinal mixed design with repeated measures comprising five phases and using electronic questionnaires (n=2,000) and individual interviews with the partner and the runners in the Pyrenees (n=18). For the partner, the results will go beyond the observations made in the field and empirically verify the achievement of the objective of this study.
