Professor Everardo Nunes's article focuses on the teaching of social sciences in medical schools, a topic addressed in other articles. Of a total of 54 published articles, 10 use the descriptors "teaching" and "social sciences," demonstrating his close relationship with the topic. The article aims to highlight some notable aspects of the introduction of social science teaching in the decades prior to the 1980s, based on various experiences, and to situate the development of social science teaching in medical schools from 1980 to 2000. The first evaluations of social science teaching demonstrated a lack of homogeneity in content and a diversity of names within the disciplines (social sciences, behavioral sciences, socio-anthropology, social psychology, and sociology). The author then focuses on situating the development of social science teaching in medical schools between 1980 and 2000, analyzing 21 studies (9 from the USA, 2 from Canada, 2 from Brazil, 1 from England, 1 from the United Kingdom, 1 from Scotland, 1 from India, one from Finland, one from Ghana, one from Israel, and one from Colombia) that addressed the issue of teaching in various countries, outlining the objectives, content, and methodology of teaching. When analyzing the objectives, he found that it is not always possible to clearly establish the division between what is called behavioral sciences and social sciences. Everardo uses eligible studies, citing Carr J. (1981), who mentioned the need to offer behavioral science content in greater depth; Gessner P.K., Katz L.A., and Schimpfhauser FT. (1981), who emphasized the training of professionals to respond to problems affecting human health; Huster M. (1981), who highlighted the diversity of departments teaching behavioral sciences; McGuire and Friedmann (1981), who emphasized that content in the field of social sciences should be more directly related to medical practice; The contents covered in the 21 studies showed a great diversity of content, grouped as follows: 1) personal behavior; 2) interpersonal behavior; 3) physician behavior; 4) community and environment; 5) organization of health care; 6) social organization and stratification; 7) health policies; 8) ethics and bioethics; 9) miscellaneous, ranging from sociological aspects to health policies. The author reached the following conclusions: a) teaching continues to play a fundamental role in the reproduction of social science knowledge in health; b) although differences persist between the various pedagogical experiences, social science teaching has sought to establish an interaction between biomedical and sociomedical knowledge; c) the vast majority of teaching experiences occur in the pre-clinical years; d) regarding objectives, there is a concern with applying the theoretical contributions of the social sciences to different situations, both in the clinical setting and in the community; e) regarding content, there is a wide thematic dispersion that extends from the teaching of basic social science concepts to specific topics in the health field; f) for analytical purposes, the contents were classified into the following thematic groups: personal behavior, interpersonal behavior, physician behavior, community and environment, health care organization, social organization and stratification, health policies, ethics and bioethics, and miscellaneous; g) expository classes persist, but there has been a growing adoption of active teaching methods in small groups, as well as research activities and interviews; h) some exp

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
