PENGARUH KEBERFUNGSIAN KELUARGA TERHADAP KESEPIAN YANG DIMODERASI KUALITAS PERTEMANAN PADA EMERGING ADULTHOOD DI JABODETABEK

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kualitas pertemanan sebagai variabel moderasi dalam keberfungsian keluarga terhadap kesepian pada emerging adulthood berusia 18-25 tahun di Jabodetabek. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan desain korelasional regresi dan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Tiga alat ukur yang digunakan meliputi McGill Friendship Questionnaire-Friend Function (MFQ-FF), General Functioning-Family Assessment Device (GF12FAD), dan UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 (UCLA-LS), di mana GF12FAD dan UCLA-LS diadaptasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa keberfungsian keluarga dan kualitas pertemanan secara parsial memengaruhi kesepian secara signifikan. Sedangkan, hasil analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pertemanan tidak memoderasi pengaruh dari keberfungsian keluarga terhadap kesepian dengan nilai signifikansi 0.477 (Sig. >0.05). Meskipun begitu, ditemukan bahwa keberfungsian keluarga dan kualitas pertemanan secara simultan dapat memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesepian dengan kontribusi sebesar 28%. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada keberfungsian keluarga dan kualitas pertemanan berdasarkan faktor demografi, seperti domisili, pekerjaan, dan jenis kelamin. This study aimed to examine the role of friendship quality as a moderating variable in the relationship between family functioning and loneliness among emerging adults aged 18-25 in the Jabodetabek area. A quantitative approach with correlational regression design and accidental sampling technique was applied. Three instruments were used: the McGill Friendship Questionnaire-Friend Function (MFQ-FF), General Functioning-Family Assessment Device (GF12FAD), and UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 (UCLA-LS). The GF12FAD and UCLA-LS were adapted to Indonesian for this study. Simple linear regression analysis showed that family functioning and friendship quality significantly influenced loneliness partially. However, multiple linear regression indicated that friendship quality did not moderate the effect of family functioning on loneliness, with a significance value of 0.477 (p > 0.05). Nonetheless, findings revealed that family functioning and friendship quality simultaneously had a significant effect on loneliness, contributing 28% of the variance. Additionally, significant differences were found in family functioning and friendship quality based on demographic factors such as domicile, employment status, and gender. This study highlights the central role of family and friendships as primary sources of psychological support that influence loneliness among emerging adults.
