Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Liu F, Liu TT, Sun M, et al. Infect Drug Resist. 2021;14:859–867. We, the Editor and Publisher of Infection and Drug Resistance, have retracted the published article. Following publication, concerns were raised by a third-party regarding the potential reuse of Figures 2G, 3E, 5F, and 5G across unrelated articles by different author groups. Further investigation by the publisher and journal has confirmed the integrity concerns of these images. When approached for an explanation, the authors did not respond to our queries. As verifying the validity of published work is core to the integrity of the scholarly record, we are therefore, retracting the article. The corresponding author listed in this publication has been informed. We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and the COPE guidelines. The retracted articles will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but they will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
