Abstract
En el presente trabajo nos proponemos abordar las políticas culturales que se implementaron en la República Argentina durante la democracia neoliberal (1983-2003). Se tendrán en cuenta los trabajos que han realizado sobre el neoliberalismo David Harvey (2015), Naomi Klein (2007), Laval& Dardot (2013) y Pierre Bourdieu (1998). Se espera profundizar sobre las políticas culturales del período a partir del trabajo de Ana Wortman (1997) y diálogar con otros que desarrollan las dinámicas de circulación artística. Entre estos, se aborda el trabajo realizado por Andrea Giunta (2009), que analiza fenómenos del arte acaecidos hacia fines de los años noventa, y los modestos avances que se han planteado como marco del proyecto de tesis doctoral titulada "Los procesos consagratorios en el campo artístico visual de Mendoza. Trayectorias y reconocimientos desde la democracia neoliberal argentina hasta los primeros años de la poscrisis" (1983 - 2003), que ofrece un panorama sobre lo ocurrido en el plano regional.
