Abstract
Nghiên cứu này khảo sát ảnh hưởng của mô hình du lịch cộng đồng đến chất lượng cuộc sống của người dân tại xã Mỹ Hòa Hưng, tỉnh An Giang, Việt Nam. Phương pháp nghiên cứu kết hợp giữa định tính và định lượng, thông qua khảo sát 120 hộ dân và phỏng vấn sâu các bên liên quan tại địa phương. Kết quả cho thấy mô hình du lịch đã mang lại nhiều lợi ích đáng kể như tăng cơ hội việc làm, nâng cao thu nhập, cải thiện nhà ở và khả năng tiếp cận các dịch vụ công. Đồng thời, du lịch cũng góp phần bảo tồn văn hóa, tăng cường gắn kết xã hội và nâng cao nhận thức bảo vệ môi trường thông qua hoạt động tuyên truyền và xử lý rác thải. Tuy nhiên, nghiên cứu cũng chỉ ra một số hạn chế như phân phối lợi ích không đồng đều, sản phẩm du lịch chưa đa dạng, hạ tầng yếu và người dân còn hạn chế về ngoại ngữ. Ma trận phân tích điểm mạnh, điểm yếu, cơ hội và thách thức được sử dụng để đề xuất các chiến lược phát triển bền vững. Nghiên cứu cũng lưu ý khả năng tồn tại thiên lệch tích cực trong phản hồi do mong muốn xã hội hoặc kỳ vọng cao từ cộng đồng. Nhìn chung, nghiên cứu khẳng định vai trò của mô hình du lịch trong phát triển nông thôn.
