Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Since 2002, a protocol of agreement established between the Laval University and the Museums of the civilisation in Quebec supports an inter-institutional collaboration in particular in the training of students, for example for the course entitled Costume and culture. Taking part in the problems of appearance, the costume is then studied like an individual and collective expression playing a strategic part in the social interrelationships. According to the periods covered by the collection of the Museums of the civilisation, work is directed especially towards the end of the 19th century, and 20th until our days. The possibility of seeing artifacts, to learn how to handle them, to study visu the forms, the materials, the manufacturing processes makes it possible to the students to be formed better thanks to the conjugation of the theory and the practice; this approach opens potential avenues of research, provides an appreciable contribution to the work of the conservatives, the valorization and the diffusion of their achievements too often remained in the shade, and enriches by new knowledge several documentary files. By thus opening the reserves and by putting the collections at the training service intellectual and professional, the Museums of the civilisation support a targeted training and contribute to the formation of the changing, particularly in conservation and museology, which proved to be unambiguous a positive experiment.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
