This item is the meeting minutes of the Board of Trustees of The Ohio State University held on March 1 and March 2, 2007 at the Ohio State University Longaberger Alumni House, Columbus, Ohio. Karen A. Holbrook gave the President's Report and Garrett Elliot was given the Student Recognition Award. Dr. Robert T. McGrath provided a status report on the research enterprise at Ohio State. The committee reports were then discussed. The consent agenda included the following resolutions: University Hospitals Board, University Hospitals East Board and The Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital Board Reappointments, Abolishment of the Center for Survey Research, Revisions to the Financial Conflicts of Interest Policy for Faculty, Revisions to the Faculty Profession Leave Program, Amendments to the Rules of the University Faculty, Distinguished Service Awards, Degrees and Certificates - Winter Quarter Commencement, Personnel Actions, Resolutions in Memoriam, Agreement between The Ohio State University and The Ohio State University Research Foundation, University Development Report, Approval to Enter into Design and Construction Contracts and a Budget Correction, Sale of Real Property (for Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center in Coshocton County), Sale of Land and Grant of Temporary Construction License to The City of Columbus, Purchase of Real Property (for Nine (9) Parcels, 2404-2432 Kenny Road and 2410 Wood Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43221), Employment of Consultants and Completion of Schematic Design, Naming of Drive, Appointment of Investment Managers and Reallocation of Funds, Procedure for Election of the Chair of The Board of Trustees, and Report and Recommendation of the Ad Hoc Nominating Committee.
