Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisa isi pemberitaan Radar Lampung dan Lampung Post mengenai isu kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan selama periode 1 Oktober 2023 hingga 31 Desember 2023 dalam pengaplikasian konsep ruang publik menurut Jurgen Habermas dan pemenuhan hak korban kekerasan seksual. Coder dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua orang, coder pertama yakni penulis serta coder kedua yaitu salah satu mitra muda UNICEF yang berasal dari Provinsi Lampung. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik pengkodingan, observasi, dokumentasi, serta studi pustaka dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis isi kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini terlihat bahwa media masih harus lebih memberikan ruang kepada masyarakat luas perihal turut berpartisipasi dalam menciptakan ruang publik yang sehat, Dalam memberitakan kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan, media online lokal Radar Lampung dan Lampung Post masih kurang dalam memberikan ruang untuk masyarakat dalam keikutsertaannya menciptakan ruang publik yang sehat. Pada kategori pemenuhan hak korban kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan dalam pemberitaan media online sub kategori masih ditemukan adanya terutama pada berita yang diterbitkan oleh media online lokal Radar Lampung. Implikasi pada penelitian ini yaitu hendaknya kedua media online lokal Radar Lampung dan Lampung Post lebih memperhatikan partisipasi masyarakat agar dapat terciptanya ruang publik yang sehat. Diharapkan juga agar media online lokal Radar Lampung dan Lampung Post untuk lebih memperhatikan isi berita agar tidak lagi menjabarkan secara detail informasi yang sadis dan cabul. There were two coders in this study, the first coder was the author and the second coder was one of UNICEF's young partners who came from Lampung Province. Data was collected using coding, observation, documentation and literature study techniques and analyzed using quantitative content analysis. The results of this research show that the media still needs to provide more space for the wider community to participate in creating a healthy public space. In reporting on sexual violence against women, local online media Radar Lampung and Lampung Post are still lacking in providing space for the community to participate in creating healthy public space. In the category of fulfilling the rights of victims of sexual violence against women in online media reporting, subcategories are still found, especially in news published by local online media Radar Lampung. The implication of this research is that the two local online media, Radar Lampung and Lampung Post, should pay more attention to community participation in order to create a healthy public space.
