Abstract
Introduktion: Vid aktivitetsfokuserad rehabilitering efter DRF behöver aktivitetsbegränsningar kartläggas Syfte: Studien syftar till att identifiera och beskriva patienters aktivitetsbegränsningar efter opererad distal radiusfraktur 6 och 10 veckor efter operation, kontrollera om de aktiviteter som är nedsatta finns med i vanligt förekomna bedömningsinstrument samt att undersöka om det finns samband mellan aktivitetsutförande och funktionsmått. Metod: En deskriptiv studie med 6 och 10 veckors uppföljning med kvantitativ bearbetning av kvalitativa variabler. Resultat: Samtliga aktivitetsområden P-ADL, fritid och produktivitet finns representerade i aktiviteter som patienterna skattar som mest påverkade och aktivitetsutförandet förbättrades över tid. Aktiviteter som nämndes utifrån instrumentet Canadian Occupational Performance Measure finns representerade i Disabilities of the Arm Shoulder and Hand och en majoritet även i Patient Rated Wrist Evaluation. Rörlighet, smärta och styrka förbättrades över tid och ett samband sågs mellan smärta, styrka och supination med aktivitetsutförande. Konklusion: Aktivitetsutförandet påverkar patienternas vardag och förbättras över tid. Aktiviteterna som är svåra att utföra finns representerade i bedömningsinstrument och viss korrelation finns med funktionsmått. Implikationer: Rehabilitering efter opererad handledsfraktur bör beakta patientens aktivitets- och funktionsbegränsningar parallellt. Resurser bör satsas på patienter som uppvisar riskfaktorer och har behov extra stöttning.
