Hubungan Kebersihan Kuku Dengan Infeksi Parasit Intestinal Di MI Miftakhul Ulum Jawar Surabaya

Abstract
Infeksi parasit intestinal merupakan salah satu penyakit yang masih menjadi permasalahan di seluruh dunia, terutama negara-negara berkembang, termasuk indonesia. Infeksi ini lebih mudah terjadi pada daerah dengan tingkat sosial ekonomi yang rendah dan sanitasi lingkungan yang kurang baik. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi kebersihan kuku dan angka kejadian serta hubungan antara kebersihan kuku dengan angka kejadian infeksi parasit intestinal pada siswa-siswi di MI Miftakhul Ulum Jawar Surabaya. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional. Populasi dan sampel penelitian yaitu 18 sampel feses dari siswa-siswi di MI Miftakhul Ulum Jawar Surabaya yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pemeriksaan feses metode direct smear dan identifikasi kebersihan kuku dengan metode observasi. Hasil penelitian tentang kebersihan kuku didapatkan presentase 56% subjek memiliki kondisi kuku dengan panjang yang buruk dan 50% subjek memiliki kondisi kuku dengan warna yang buruk. Hasil pemeriksaan feses didapatkan presentase infeksi parasit intestinal sebanyak 17% dengan jenis parasit yang ditemukan yaitu Blatsocystis sp. bentukan vakuolar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa angka kejadian infeksi parasit intestinal terdapat kesesuaian dengan kebersihan kuku pada siswa-siswi di MI Miftakhul Ulum Jawar Surabaya.
