Bibliographic record
Abstract
»-- « This thesis, grounded in children's perspectives, explores how to foster the development of a therapeutic alliance between a child and a practitioner as part of an intervention process. The research builds on Bordin's (1979) theoretical framework of the therapeutic alliance. The primary goal of this study is to amplify children's voices, allowing them to contribute to knowledge about the process of developing a therapeutic alliance. Seven children, aged eight to eleven, participated in six group meetings at the Centre de pédiatrie sociale La Ruelle d'Hochelaga in Montreal during the fall of 2022. Throughout these meetings, their perspectives on the development of a therapeutic alliance were gathered using various artistic media, including drawing, painting, and photography. This qualitative study employed the analytical questioning method to analyze the data (Paillé & Mucchielli, 2021). The children's voices highlight several key skills and attitudes that influence the development of a therapeutic alliance, such as observation, listening, positivity, curiosity, and mutual commitment. Additionally, they reflected on the dimensions of Bordin's model, emphasizing that trust and confidence are the most essential and predominant aspects. Regarding the intervention setting, the children expressed a preference for an aesthetically pleasing, warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment, with flexible furnishings adapted to their needs. Lastly, they provided several recommendations to strengthen the therapeutic alliance: encourage their active participation, respond attentively to their requests for help, establish positive contact to improve their perception of follow-ups, and take the time to fully understand their situation. -- Mot(s) clé(s) en anglais : Key words: social work, children, therapeutic alliance, creative approach, visual approach, collaborative approach, group intervention. »--

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
