A Clínica intercultural como modalidade de atendimento psicológico especializado a imigrantes: um projeto de extensão universitário

Abstract
Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar e sistematizar a experiência da Clínica Intercultural (CI), um projeto de extensão do Departamento de Psicologia da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, que se construiu como um dispositivo clínico adaptado e focado na escuta qualificada de imigrantes e refugiados em Florianópolis (SC). O artigo discute (1) os aspectos históricos e contextuais das atividades desenvolvidas pela CI, (2) os fundamentos teóricos e metodológicos que sustentam a prática clínica, (3) apresenta o dispositivo clínico e o funcionamento dos atendimentos psicológicos, assim como suas contribuições e repercussões. O modelo clínico adotado é baseado no dispositivo clínico da coterapia, inspirado no SAPSIR© (Canadá). Sua metodologia integra a proposta teórica e metodológica da Etnopsiquiatria, fundamentando-se na universalidade psíquica por meio da singularidade da cultura, o que atribui um papel central aos elementos culturais na expressão do sofrimento psíquico. Além dos atendimentos clínicos, o projeto também promoveu e integrou atividades de formação, sensibilização e participação social, voltadas para o acolhimento e a inclusão de imigrantes na sociedade brasileira. A experiência da CI é compartilhada com o intuito de destacar um dispositivo clínico que trabalha a alteridade e a identidade de imigrantes e refugiados, buscando auxiliá-los a reconstruir suas histórias e significados em um novo contexto, por meio de uma continuidade de si. Além disso, a CI se configura como um espaço de formação em psicologia clínica intercultural.
