Abstract

Pengembangan tanaman hortikultura pada lahan-lahan dengan kondisi tanah yang miskin hara atau sangat terbatas membutuhkan input bahan organik diantaranya berupa pupuk kompos yang diharapkan akan memperbaiki struktur tanah juga dinamika perbaikan pergerakan air dan unsur hara. Jenis tanah yang cukup luas khususnya di Sulawesi Selatan adalah jenis tanah ultisol, merupakan Jenis tanah yang miskin hara, oleh karena itu penambahan jenis bahan penyusun pupuk organic sangat berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan penyerapan air dan hara tanaman pada tanah tersebut . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Dinamika Pertumbuhan Tanaman terung pada tanah ultisol dengan berbagai dosis kompos kotoran sapi + limbah tanaman. Menggunakan Terung ungu varietas Antaboga, penelitian dilaksanakan dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok terdiri dari 12 kombinasi Perlakuan: Kontrol Tanpa Pupuk dan 2 Kontrol dosis Pupuk Kimia. Perlakuan tersebut terdiri dari Tanpa Kompos (Kontrol), Kompos Kotoran Sapi + Limbah Kakao 25 ton.Ha-1, Kompos Kotoran Sapi + Limbah Kakao (KS + PK) 50 ton.Ha-1, Kompos Kotoran Sapi + Limbah Kakao (KS + PK) 75 ton Ha-1, KS + Limbah Nilam (KS + NI) 25 ton.Ha-1, KS + Limbah Nilam (KS + NI) 50 ton.Ha-1, KS + Limbah Nilam (KS + NI) 75 ton.Ha-1, KS + Limbah Kakao + Limbah Nilam (KS+PK+NI) 25 ton. Ha-1, KS + Limbah Kakao + Limbah Nilam (KS+PK+NI) 50 ton.Ha-1, KS+ Limbah Kakao + Limbah Nilam (KS+PK+NI) 75 ton.Ha-1, Pupuk NPK 40 kg.Ha-1, dan Pupuk NPK 60 kg.Ha-1. Hasil penelitian diperoleh parameter bahwa tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan diameter batang tanaman yang menunjukkan hasil lebih baik yaitu perlakuan kompos kotoran sapi + Limbah Kakao 25 ton.Ha-1. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan, bahwa pemberian kompos kotoran sapi + Limbah Kakao 25 ton.Ha-1 adalah perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh terbaik dan hasil teringgi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman terung ungu.
