Proses pengeboran merupakan salah satu proses pemesinan yang sangat penting dalam industri manufaktur karena berpengaruh langsung terhadap ketepatan dimensi, kehalusan permukaan, dan integritas material benda kerja. Salah satu permasalahan yang sering muncul dalam proses pengeboran adalah getaran mesin yang dapat menurunkan kualitas hasil lubang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tingkat getaran terhadap kualitas hasil pengeboran pada mesin drilling Knuth tipe KB 20 S. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan melakukan pengujian pengeboran pada beberapa variasi kecepatan putar spindle dan laju pemakanan. Pengukuran getaran dilakukan menggunakan vibration meter, sedangkan kualitas hasil pengeboran dievaluasi berdasarkan parameter kekasaran permukaan, diameter lubang, dan tingkat keausan pahat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan amplitudo getaran berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan kekasaran permukaan dan penyimpangan diameter lubang. Selain itu, getaran yang tinggi juga mempercepat terjadinya keausan pada mata bor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut Terjadi lonjakan getaran tertinggi pada fase awal start-up di kepala mesin dengan nilai 1,7 mms, yang berpotensi menyebabkan ketidaksesuaian dimensi lubang awal serta peningkatan kekasaran permukaan hasil pengeboran. Setelah fase awal, tingkat getaran menurun secara drastis dan stabil dalam rentang 0,2 hingga 0,3 mms, menandakan bahwa mesin telah mencapai kondisi operasi yang lebih seimbang dan stabil. Selain itu, adanya transfer getaran ke meja dan dudukan mesin, terutama pada fase transisi dengan nilai getaran mencapai 0,6 mms di dudukan, menunjukkan perlunya penguatan struktur untuk mencegah resonansi yang dapat memengaruhi kestabilan mesin dan kualitas pengeboran secara keseluruhan.
