Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This thesis is dedicated to the study of the presence of musical structures in four narratives of Nove, novena (1966): "A point in the circle", "Hahn's pentagon", "Baroque tale or tripartite unit" and "Pastoral". The choice of these narratives was made by bringing, in the literalness of the text, a permeability between literature and music. It focuses on perceiving the aesthetic features of a musical nature, either from the introduction of a sound sensation, or from structural elements shared or transposed between the musical and literary languages, forged in the elaboration of a new narrative writing. Osman Lins proposes a conception of literature that resembles a cosmogony, in which it is in the ordering of chaos by the word that the opportunity of dialogue with the reader is created and, from this, the possibility of a new look on the world and its social models. To this end, the writer uses technical and aesthetic procedures of the artistic creation in the field of the intersection between arts, in order to establish this debate. One of the musical variants that contribute to our work is the concept of "soundscape", coined by the Canadian composer, musicologist and critic Murray Schafer (2001), who affirms that it is possible to isolate a field of knowledge and study it as an acoustic field. Mikhail Bakhtin (1981), Umberto Eco (2010), Friedrich Nietzsche (2007), Mário de Andrade (2003), Italo Calvino (1990), Mircea Eliade (2011) and Gaston Bachelard (1978) actuates the research, establishing themselves as a theoretical foundation.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
