Aspectos psicossociais associados à prática de atividade física em idosos

Abstract
O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar as relações entre fatores sociodemográficos, antropométricos, funcionais e psicossociais com a prática de atividade física (AF) no lazer em idosos. Participaram do estudo 208 idosos, com 60 anos ou mais, residentes na cidade de Bauru (SP). Os dados foram coletados através dos seguintes instrumentos: (a) Ficha de Avaliação de dados sociodemográficos, clínicos, antropométricos e comportamentais; (b) Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA); (c) Questionário Internacional de Atividade Física (IPAQ); (d) Medical Outcomes Study Sf-36 Health Survey (SF-36); (e) Escala de Percepção de Benefícios e Barreiras para AF (EBBS); (f) Escala de Autoeficácia para a AF; (g) Escala de Avaliação do Apoio Social para a AF (EASAF). A distribuição dos dados foi verificada por meio do teste de normalidade de Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Os dados foram analisados por meio de estatística descritiva (média e desvio padrão para dados quantitativos, e frequência absoluta e relativa para dados qualitativos) e inferencial utilizando-se a correlação de Spearman e a Regressão Linear Múltipla, com método de imputação do tipo backward. Foi admitido nível de significância de 5% para todas as análises. A atividade física foi significativamente relacionada à escolaridade (r=0,33), à autoeficácia (r=0,56), ao apoio social de amigos (r=0,58) e de familiares (r=0,25), aos benefícios (r=0,52) e às barreiras percebidas (r=-0,45). A regressão linear múltipla originou um modelo significativamente relacionado à prática de atividade física no lazer [F(5, 95) = 5,309; p < 0,001; R² = 0,218], sendo que os preditores com maior coeficiente de determinação foram a autoeficácia (β=0,346; t=3,484; p<0,001), a percepção de barreiras (β=0,152; t=1,583; p>0,05), o apoio social de amigos (β=0,148; t=1,517; p>0,05), os benefícios percebidos (β=0,118; t=1,211; p>0,05) e o apoio social da família (β=0,019; t=0,201; p>0,05), respectivamente. A análise do coeficiente de determinação (R²) indicou que 21,8% da variação da prática de atividade física pode ser atribuída à variação dos fatores psicossociais
