Abstract
Analisar a prevalência de disfunções temporomandibulares em indivíduos com espondiloartrites axiais.Foi realizada busca nas bases de dados: MEDLINE via PubMed; EMBASE; LILACS; The Cochrane Library; CINAHL; Scopus; Web of Science; Google Scholar, citações anteriores e subsequentes de estudos publicados entre o início da base de dados até 1 de dezembro de 2021. A qualidade metodológica das evidências foi avaliada com a Escala de Newcastle-Ottawa e a certeza geral da evidência foi avaliada usando os critérios GRADE. Na metanálise, o risco de disfunção temporomandibular foi avaliado usando Odds Ratio (OR). A declaração MOOSE foi adotada para relatar este estudo. O viés de publicação foi avaliado pela construção de um gráfico de funil. O protocolo foi publicado no PROSPERO com o número de registro: CRD42020206283.Nossa busca identificou 487 registros, dos quais 19 estudos observacionais com 952 participantes foram elegíveis para o estudo. A prevalência combinada de DTM’s em pacientes com EpaAx sob um modelo de efeitos aleatórios foi estimado em 37,23% com um intervalo de confiança de 95% (27,51–47,47). Quando comparada com indivíduos saudáveis, a chance de DTM nesta população é de 4,49 (IC95% 2,24-8,89). O viés de publicação e viés de relatório foi avaliado pela construção de um gráfico de funil, não mostrando evidências de viés de publicação.Esta metanálise demonstrou um possível aumento da prevalência da DTM em pacientes com espondiloartrites axiais.
