Abstract
O objetivo da pesquisa é mapear e sistematizar as práticas da organização transnacional estadunidense Students for Liberty (SFL) no plano doméstico brasileiro, entre 2012, ano em que se verificam as primeiras atividades da entidade no país, e as eleições gerais de 2022. Ao se analisar a ação do SFL durante o período, busca-se compreender procedências que culminaram em repercussões nos campos político, jurídico-institucional e das subjetividades, no sentido de sedimentação de uma racionalidade política afinada à ascensão da extrema-direita no Brasil. Neste contexto, destaca-se o papel da entidade na criação e consolidação de um conjunto de lideranças e movimentos políticos, como o Movimento Brasil Livre (MBL), na formação de quadros para a política profissional, além de incentivo a iniciativas comprometidas com a promoção do chamado “empreendedorismo social”. A partir de uma perspectiva crítica da Teoria das Relações Internacionais e com contribuições do método analítico-genealógico, propõe-se, sobretudo, descrever o funcionamento da organização e quais tecnologias de poder ela mobiliza, como elemento de uma reconfiguração estratégica do neoliberalismo durante a segunda década do século XXI.
