Abstract
O artigo apresenta reflexões sobre a parceria entre pesquisadores e professores como um espaço privilegiado para o desenvolvimento profissional docente. Descreve um projeto de pesquisa colaborativo cujo principal objetivo foi conceber, de forma conjunta, uma ferramenta didática inovadora para o ensino das ciências humanas e sociais no 3º ano do ensino fundamental, articulando a análise socioespacial proposta pelo Programa de Formação da Escola Quebequense à criação, interpretação e apreciação de produções artísticas. Desenvolvido em estreita colaboração entre pesquisadores e docentes da educação básica, o projeto envolveu a análise socioespacial das três sociedades estudadas nesse ano escolar (algonquina, iroquesa e inca, por volta de 1500), seguida da composição e gravação profissional de nove canções que destacam suas principais características. A realização de uma jornada de estudos e reflexões, aliada à experimentação e validação da ferramenta por professores, possibilitou identificar caminhos para sua integração no ensino das ciências humanas e sociais, além de fornecer subsídios para a formação docente neste campo.
