A imagologia, campo emergente nos estudos comparativos, ganha relevância no contexto contemporâneo de conflitos globais e nacionalismos. Originária dos anos 1950-60, essa abordagem interdisciplinar não teoriza identidades nacionais, mas representações de nações construídas em contextos específicos. O presente dossiê agrupou uma série de artigos que refletem sobre o diálogo entre Brasil e outras nações em diferentes períodos e perspectivas teóricas.
