Abstract
As a result of cultural currents beginning in 1988, which benefitted from 20<sup>th</sup>-century skepticism about morality (G) – specifically, doubts that arose in 20<sup>th</sup> century metaethics as to whether the supposed “is-ought gap” can or need be bridged – we now have, emanating from the United States and Canada, a global anti-G threat in the form of invasive pedophilia that spreads via the internet because of its cultural hidden-yet-openness. It has, arguably, global political urgency on a par with Generative AI learning to control nuclear weapons. It also has longer-term implications for the sustainability of human societies on a par with the problems of global overpopulation and environmental destruction. The area of concern and remedy is the most germane to the third of the UN's 17 SDGs, but since the UN has no legal power in this respect but can only really inspire, I have set out compactly some ideas about how societies can deal effectively with this existential threat and any others like it, drawing upon Carl Schmitt’s <i>The Concept of the Political</i> and Robert Nozick's <i>Anarchy, State, and Utopia</i>.
