Abstract
El Colegio San Isidro Labrador de Cajicá es una Comunidad que ha construido una identidad académica y social a partir de la educación practica ambiental. El colegio ha enfrentado dificultades por su continuo crecimiento. Esto Actualmente se debe a que su infraestructura que limita sus actividades académicas, sociales y ambientales, no es un espacio que permita el desarrollo académico. La autoconstrucción como una solución es problemática y precaria, limitando las actividades en el colegio. Este caso de estudio se abordará mediante la arquitectura social y diseño participativo cómo una forma para definir junto a la comunidad su visión de colegio ideal. El proyecto Raíces y Alas: Un Proyecto de Educación Integral busca dar una respuesta arquitectónica por medio de La Arquitectura Social frente a la necesidad de una infraestructura en condiciones que permita el desarrollo académico de la comunidad, por medio de una metodología de Diseño Participativo que permite la recolección de datos a través de entrevistas, actividades de reconocimiento y sesiones de diseño participativo que reconoce las problemáticas, necesidades y propuestas esquemáticas por parte de la comunidad de su colegio ideal. Esto con el fin de ser objeto de análisis e interpretación, que permite diseñar una propuesta de colegio fortalece la identidad académica, social y ambiental de su comunidad
