Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

A five-year-old, male castrated, mixed breed dog presented to the Cornell University Hospital for Animals Ophthalmology Service in December 2014 for suspected glaucoma. The owners reported a one month history of red eyes. On presentation, the patient was hyperthermic. Two paralumbar subcutaneous soft tissue masses with diameters of 2-3 cm were present. On ophthalmic exam, the pupillary light response was sluggish OU. Intraocular pressures were within normal range OU. Deep corneal neovascularization was present OU. Examination of the anterior chamber revealed 1+ aqueous flare and keratic precipitates OU. Posterior synechiae were present OU. Fundic exam revealed bullous retinal detachment with diffuse retinal hemorrhage and suspected subretinal granulomas OU. Diagnostics included a complete blood count (CBC), chemistry panel, 4DX snap test, urine antigen test for blastomycosis, Brucella canis agar gel immunodiffusion (AGID) test, cytology from aspirates of the subcutaneous masses, thoracic radiographs, abdominal ultrasound, and cytology from splenic aspirates. An underlying etiology was not found, and a presumptive diagnosis of idiopathic panuveitis was made. The patient was started on both systemic and topical prednisolone and oral doxycycline.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
