Abstract
Quarter life crisis adalah kondisi rasa cemas & kebimbangan terjadi tiap individu di awal masa dewasa, yakni diantara usia 18 sampai 29 tahun. Salah satu faktornya diduga berperan dalam hal tersebut yaitu kepercayaan diri individu. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa Soegijapranata Catholic University Semarang. Metode riset yang dipergunakan ialah kuantitatif korelasional melalui teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Partisipan riset ini berjumlah 143 mahasiswa yang berusia 19-22 tahun. Pengukuran data dilaksanakan mempergunakan Skala Quarter Life Crisis dan Skala Kepercayaan Diri usai diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman’s rho dengan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,848. Maka, kesimpulannya terdapat hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara quarter life crisis dengan kepercayaan diri pada mahasiswa Soegijapranata Catholic University Semarang. Artinya, semakin tinggi kepercayaan pada mahasiswa Soegijapranata Catholic University Semarang, maka semakin rendah quarter life crisis yang dialami mahasiswa, begitupun sebaliknya.
