La littérature sur la mobilité résidentielle des personnes issues de la diversité sexuelle et de la pluralité des genres (DSPG) et les recherches sur la spatialisation et la territorialité de cette population comportent un vide. Ce constat nous amène à étudier la façon dont l’identité des personnes identifiées informe leur arbitrage résidentiel et se répercute sur leur trajectoire résidentielle. Ici, nous mobilisons la théorie du point de vue situé (Patricia Hill Collins), les concepts de la temporalité queer (Jack Halberstam) et de la trajectoire résidentielle (David Clapham). Nous usons également d’une approche méthodologique composée d’entretiens semi-dirigés, plaçant ainsi les expériences et les récits des personnes participantes au coeur de la collecte de données. Par l’analyse thématique (Victoria Clarke, Virginia Braun), nous faisons ressortir des thèmes marquant l’expérience des personnes de la DSPG quant à leurs décisions en matière de logement (arbitrage vis-à-vis les trajectoires résidentielles, critères de sélection résidentielle, expérience du logement, perception du Village comme milieu résidentiel). Au travers de thèmes représentant des axes d’arbitrage, notre analyse avance que l’identité influence la trajectoire résidentielle des membres de notre échantillon et elle nous éloigne de l’interprétation classique de la mobilité résidentielle, comme celle de l’étalement urbain et des cycles de vie (Peter H.
