Dans le cadre du projet suisse (2024-2026), Immersion autrement : la mobilité des enseignant.e.s, clé de l'enseignement bilingue[1], six à douze enseignant.e.s de Suisse alémanique et de Suisse romande échangeront leur poste un jour par semaine pendant une année scolaire. Ce jour-là, les élèves de l'école d'accueil bénéficieront d'un enseignement bilingue dispensé par un.e enseignant.e issu.e de l'autre région linguistique. L'objectif principal est de renforcer l'apprentissage des langues étrangères grâce à l'enseignement bilingue tout en développant les compétences interculturelles des élèves. En passant d'une classe francophone à une classe germanophone, et inversement, les enseignant.e.s franchissent des frontières non seulement spatiales, mais aussi linguistiques et culturelles. Cette expérience leur offre l’opportunité de perfectionner leurs compétences linguistiques, didactiques et pédagogiques. Il reste à déterminer si cette initiative permettra de renforcer un récit plus harmonieux et positif entre les différentes régions linguistiques de la Suisse. [1] Le projet émane du groupe de travail bicantonal SO-NE, formé après la déclaration d’intention visant à renforcer la collaboration entre Soleure (SO) et Neuchâtel (NE) dans les domaines des échanges, de la mobilité et de l’enseignement bilingue de la première langue étrangère à l’école obligatoire. Initialement nommé « Les échanges du lundi », le projet repose sur l’idée d’un enseignement bilingue combinant langue scolaire et langue étrangère. Dans le titre, les termes « immersion » en français et « bilingualer Unterricht » en allemand sont considérés comme équivalents.
