La Réponse à l’Intervention en mathématiques chez les élèves de 3PH : effet du niveau socio-économique

Abstract
La Réponse à l’Intervention a largement été étudiée aux Etats-Unis et au Canada, démontrant des résultats prometteurs, mais n’a pas encore fait ses preuves dans l’Europe francophone. Notre étude a pour but de tester l’implémentation d’une intervention de palier deux en mathématiques dans des écoles vaudoises et genevoises de 3PH. Au total, 362 participants ont été recruté. Parmi les élèves rencontrant des difficultés en mathématiques, 43 ont bénéficié d’une intervention en mathématiques (groupe expérimental) et 38 n’y ont pas participé (groupe contrôle). Tous les participants ont réalisé un pré et post-test afin de vérifier l’efficacité de l’intervention. Les résultats montrent une amélioration plus importante pour le groupe ayant participé à l’intervention comparé au groupe n’ayant pas reçu d’intervention en mathématiques. Cependant, nous n’avons pas trouvé d’effet du niveau socio-économique sur l’efficacité de l’intervention. Les résultats de cette étude sont encourageants pour implémenter cette approche dans les systèmes francophones suisses.
