Abstract
Kelompok usaha wanita pengrajin purun “Galoeh Bandjar” yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Palam, Kecamatan Cempaka, Kota Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan merupakan kelompok binaan Pemerintah Kota Banjarbaru yang berfokus pada kegiatan kerajinan anyaman purun sekaligus mendukung pengembangan destinasi wisata Kampung Purun. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada kelompok mitra dalam upaya penerapan inovasi penambahan gagang kayu pada produk tas berbahan dasar anyaman purun tikus. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi kegiatan pertemuan, penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, pelatihan, dan pendampingan langsung kepada pengrajin. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya perubahan positif terhadap sikap dan pengetahuan anggota kelompok mitra, dari yang sebelumnya memiliki pemahaman terbatas menjadi lebih memahami teknik penambahan gagang kayu pada produk tas purun tikus. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan secara teori maupun praktik memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap peningkatan pemahaman peserta, meskipun peningkatan signifikan baru terjadi pada sebagian anggota kelompok. Kegiatan tersebut secara keseluruhan memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan kemampuan, adopsi inovasi, serta perubahan tingkat penilaian kelompok mitra terhadap aspek kreativitas dan kualitas produk dari kategori “cukup” menjadi “baik” dengan kisaran peningkatan 50-60%.
