Депресия и социално функциониране при лица в напреднала и старческа възраст – потребители на социални услуги

Abstract
Настоящата студия представя изследване на взаимовръзките между измерените нива на депресия и група от променливи, свързани със социалното функциониране при лица в напреднала и старческа възраст – потребители на социални услуги. Включени в измерванията и анализа са: социална адаптация; социална активност; удовлетвореност от качеството на живота; честота на практикуване на любими занимания, депресия; самота; възраст; образование; здравен, когнитивен и материално-битов статус. Резултатите от корелационния анализ показаха, че депресията е значимо и обратнопропорционално свързана с голяма част от индикаторите на удовлетвореността и пълноценното социално функциониране. Факторният анализ определи три фактора, които имат стабилизиращо и неутрализиращо действие по отношение на депресията при възрастните хора. Това са: (1) биопсихосоциалната стабилност, емоционалната задоволеност и сигурност; (2) интелектуално, духовно и креативно ориентираните съзнание и активност на личността; (3) самоуправлението, обезпечеността и задоволеността от основните потребности в ежедневието. Резултатите от изследването могат да послужат в практиката при съставяне на програми за индивидуална и груповаработа с възрастни потребители на социални услуги. Библиография: Атанасова, П., Р.
