Abstract
Cet article porte sur une recherche qualitative effectuée au Nouveau-Brunswick. La recherche se penche sur l’expérience de femmes immigrantes qui vivent dans cette province, soit leur trajectoire migratoire et les situations de précarité. L’orientation théorique est ancrée dans un cadre d’analyse intersectionnelle permettant d’explorer les dimensions marquantes de l’expérience de ces femmes à partir des dimensions telles que le genre, le statut migratoire, la nationalité et la langue parlée. Le concept d’injustices épistémiques est utilisé pour saisir en quoi le savoir et la voix de ces femmes sont souvent marginalisés ou ignorés dans les sociétés d’accueil. La collecte de données a été réalisée par l’entremise d’entrevues semi-dirigées. Les résultats présentés portent sur des situations de précarité financière et d’injustices vécues par ces femmes immigrantes, ainsi que sur les réseaux sociaux qu’elles ont développés. En guise de conclusion, des pistes de réflexion sont proposées en matière d’intégration des femmes immigrantes à la société canadienne.
