Introdução: Os quadros teóricos centrados na família são abordagens que colocam a família como foco principal do estudo e da intervenção em enfermagem familiar. A sua utilização proporciona uma base conceptual robusta, orientando a avaliação e a intervenção junto das famílias em diferentes contextos de cuidados. Objetivo: Mapear os quadros teóricos utilizados por estudantes de mestrado e doutoramento em enfermagem em Portugal. Métodos: Realizada uma Scoping review de acordo com as recomendações do JBI e os critérios PRISMA-ScR. A pesquisa foi efetuada na base Repositórios Científicos de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (RCAAP), entre 2011 e 2023, incluindo documentos em texto integral, em português, sem restrições quanto ao desenho metodológico, desde que utilizassem explicitamente referenciais teóricos centrados na família. A seleção e extração dos dados foram realizadas por dois revisores de forma independente, sendo os resultados sintetizados de modo descritivo. Resultados: Foram incluídos 36 estudos. O Modelo Dinâmico de Avaliação e Intervenção Familiar (MDAIF) foi o referencial mais utilizado, seguido pela Teoria da Transição de Meleis, a Teoria do Autocuidado de Orem, o Modelo de Sistemas de Neuman e os Modelos de Calgary. Estes quadros sustentaram intervenções com famílias em diferentes fases do ciclo de vida, promovendo ganhos de saúde. Conclusão: Os referenciais teóricos identificados evidenciam uma maior articulação entre a investigação académica e a prática clínica especializada, contribuindo para a afirmação da enfermagem familiar como disciplina científica e área diferenciada de atuação. A predominância do MDAIF em Portugal contrasta com a tendência internacional, onde os modelos baseados em Calgary são mais frequentemente adotados.
