Abstract
Дисертацията проследява появата и развитието на жанра и стила на некролозите, съобщенията за смърт и надгробните слова в българския възрожденски печат през периода 1850-1878 година. Основната цел на проучването беше да се установи моделът на този тип текстове, навлезли в българската възрожденска преса. Да се типологизира и дефинира жанрът и стилът. Беше направен исторически обзор на вестници от Великобритания, Франция и Русия с цел да се установи моделът, който следват българските поминални текстове през разглеждания период. Като част от изследването е разгледано отношението към смъртта в различните културно-исторически епохи, а също и отношението на обществото към текстовете, съобщаващи смъртта. Изследвана е мотивацията за появата на тези текстове и основните идеологически причини, които ги налагат сред обществото в България. След анализ на солиден корпус от текстове (366 ) се доказа и наличие на таблоидност и сензационност в периодичния печат през Възраждането.В дисертацията е направена структурна, стилистична и езикова характеристика на поминалните текстове (некролози, съобщения за смърт, надгробни слова), публикувани в българския възрожденски печат. Лингвистичният анализ включва всички езикови нива (фонетика, морфология, синтаксис, лексика) и е съобразен с динамиката на процесите, свързани с развитието на българския книжовен език.
