В статията се разглеждат със­тоянието и изменението на показателите, които характеризират жилищната осигуре­ност на населението в Северозападен район на Република България1. Обект на изследва­нето са областите в Северозападен район на България – Видин, Враца, Ловеч, Монтана, Плевен (Закон за регионалното развитие, чл. 4, ал. 3, т. 1). Предмет на анализа са по­казателите, характеризиращи жилищната осигуреност на населението, които са: брой жилища, падащи се на 1000 обитатели, жи­лищен стандарт, средна площ на едно жили­ще, жилищна площ, брой и структура на за­строените и на въведените в експлоатация жилища и жилищни сгради, коефициент на концентрация на жилищата и други. Анали­зирани са влиянието на отделните фактори върху изменението на тези показатели. На­правените изводи могат да бъдат обобщени по следния начин: показателите брой жилища на 1000 обитатели и жилищен стандарт, ха­рактеризиращи жилищната осигуреност на населението в Северозападен район на Бъл­гария, формират тенденция на нарастване за анализирания период от време 2010-2014 г. Причините за тяхното подобряване се дъл­жат на забавения темп на намаляване на броя на жилищата спрямо този на население­то и на наличието на темп на нарастване на жилищната площ. Тези изменения са след­ствие на настъпилите демографски, иконо­мически и социални изменения след настъп­ването на Световната икономическа криза. Provision of the Population in the Northwestern Region of Bulgaria with Housing for the 2010-2014 Period The article examines the status and chang­es of indicators characterizing the provision of the population in the northwestern region of the Republic of Bulgaria with housing. Targeted by the survey are the administrative-territorial units of the northwestern region of Bulgaria – Vidin, Vratsa, Lovech, Montana, Pleven. Analyzed are the indicators characterizing the housing avail­ability for the population, which are housing num­bers per 1,000 residents, housing standard, av­erage housing area, housing area, number and structure of the housing units and residential buildings constructed and made operational, the concentration of housing factor, etc. Analyzed is the impact of various factors on these indicators. The conclusions may be summarized as follows: the housing numbers per 1,000 inhabitants and the housing standard, characterizing the housing availability for the population in the northwestern region of Bulgaria form an upward trend for the analyzed 2010-2014 period. The reasons for their improvement are the reduced rate of decrease in the housing numbers relative to the population and the growing housing area. These changes are the result of demographic, economic and so­cial changes since the global economic crisis.
