Abstract
U radu se analizira i opisuje informiranje javnosti s naglaskom na proaktivnu objavu podataka o okolišu. "Okoliš" i "informiranje" u posljednjih desetak godina postaju sve češće korištene riječi, što je direktna posljedica mnogobrojnih zakonodavnih izmjena u oba područja. Informiranje javnosti o okolišu rezultat je stupanja na snagu Aarhuške konvencije o pristupu informacijama, sudjelovanju javnosti u odlučivanju i pristupu pravosuđu u pitanjima okoliša. Promjena se događa i na području nacionalnog zakonodavstva donošenjem novih zakona - Zakona o zaštiti okoliša i Zakona o pravu na pristup informacijama. Proces se odvija u vrijeme usklađivanja hrvatskog pravnog sustava s pravnom stečevinom Europske unije što je dodatno proširilo sami spektar promjena. U suštini će cijeli proces prilagodbe pravnog sustava ovisiti o zainteresiranosti javnosti i tijela javne vlasti koji se javljaju kao najvažniji akteri ovog rada. Analizirat će se mogućnosti pristupa informacijama o okolišu i obveze tijela javne vlasti u vezi njihove proaktivne objave.
