Abstract
BİPOLAR TANILI BİREYLERDE ALEKSİTİMİNİN İŞLEVSELLİK VE ALGILANAN SOSYAL DESTEĞE ETKİSİ Amaç: Bu çalışma bipolar tanılı bireylerde aleksitiminin işlevsellik ve algılanan sosyal desteğe etkisini incelemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipte olan bu çalışmada örneklem seçimine gidilmeyerek Bipolar Bozukluk tanılı manik epizoddaki çalışma kriterlerini karşılayan 267 hasta oluşturmuştur. Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Toronto Aleksitimi Ölçeği (TAÖ-20), Bipolar Bozuklukta İşlevsellik Ölçeği (BBİÖ), Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği (ÇBADSÖ) kullanarak yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS kullanılarak analiz edilmiş ve Independent Sample T testi, One Way Anova testi, Kruskall Wallis testi, Ki-Kare testi ve Pearson korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Katılımcıların %63,67’si kadın, %65,17’si bekar, yaş ortalamaları ise 37,79±11,50’dir. Katılımcıların %58,8’i sigara, alkol ve maddeden en az birini kullanmakta; %75,28’i düzenli ilaç kullanmaktadır. Ölçeklerden aldıkları toplam puan ortalamaları TAÖ-20 22±12,48; ÇBADSÖ 58,73±17,35; BBİÖ 109,93±17,96’dır. Katılımcıların işlevsellik düzeyleri ile algılanan sosyal destek düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki (r=0,504; p<0,05); aleksitimi düzeyleri ile algılanan sosyal destek düzeyleri arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki (r=-0,313; p<0,05); aleksitimi düzeyleri ile işlevsellik düzeyleri arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki (r=-0,467; p<0,05) bulunmaktadır. Sonuç ve Öneriler: Katılımcıların aleksitimi düzeyleri arttıkça işlevsellikleri ve algılanan sosyal destek düzeyleri azalmaktadır. Algılanan sosyal destek düzeyleri arttıkça işlevsellikleri artmaktadır. Düzenli ilaç kullanım durumları aleksitimi ve işlevsellik düzeyini olumlu etkilemektedir.
