Abstract
Résumé: Cet article analyse la présence du quotidien dans deux bandes dessinées qui suivent les aventures d'une jeune protagoniste à Montréal : De l'autre côté, à Montréal (2014) d'Émilie Plateau et Hiver nucléaire (2014) de Cab (Caroline Breault). C'est en s'aventurant dans la rue, premier lieu du quotidien selon Maurice Blanchot, que les filles, initialement enfermées dans leurs routines, commencent à se frayer de nouveaux chemins. Cet article étudie la manière dont les protagonistes réagissent quand leur quotidien devient étrange et dans quelle mesure ces expériences provoquent un changement de perspective. Il s'agit de montrer que ces bandes dessinées mettent en scène une quête individuelle et émotionnelle où il n'est pas question de se libérer définitivement du quotidien, mais tout simplement de le contrôler. En d'autres mots, pour reprendre l'idée de Michel de Certeau, ces textes tracent les parcours urbains de ces personnages dans la recherche et la découverte singulières de leurs manières personnelles et uniques d'être au monde.
