Abstract
El desarrollo del presente proyecto diseña y construye el mecanismo de los dedos (índice, corazón, anular y meñique) para una prótesis mioeléctrica de mano diseñada con los datos biométricos del paciente Libardo Mendoza quien padece de amputación transradial derecha. La solución dada considera además las propuestas por parte de los directivos del semillero y los autores del proyecto, donde se concluye que sea antropomórfica, en lámina de Aluminio, con 1 grado de libertad cada dedo, mecanismo de Toronto y usando elementos que permitan un bajo coste con buena calidad. El diseño final va orientado en Biomimética, la cual asemeja la apariencia y funcionalidad con el miembro biológico, permitiendo la adición de recubrimientos (piel sintética) para proteger los circuitos internos del medio ambiente. Se seleccionan opciones que sean amigables con el medio ambiente, tratando de usar la menor cantidad de plástico posible. Al final se desarrolla el mecanismo de los dedos donde se comprueba su funcionamiento y se deja totalmente funcional con el objetivo de seguir desarrollando la prótesis completa para el paciente y las personas que sufren este tipo de discapacidad.
