Abstract
Title: Effectivness of physiotherapeutic intervention on primary dysmenorrhea therapy Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of a twelve-week physiotherapy intervention including manual therapy according to dysmenorrhea. Methods: This experimental study evaluates the benefits of physiotherapeutic intervention in women with primary dysmenorrhea. Female probands suffering from primary dysmenorrhea were selected and randomly divided into two groups. Two standardized qualitative questionnaires, Menstrual Distress Questionnaire and Short-Form McGill Pain Questionnaire were used to assess dysmenorrhea and the effect of therapy at the beginning of the experiment and at the end of the experiment after three months. During these months, three physiotherapy interventions were performed, which included examination and treatment by joint mobilisation series and examination and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles The control group did not undergo any treatment of primary dysmenorrhea for three months.
