Abstract
Quarter Life Crisis merupakan fase krisis identitas, emosi, dan tujuan hidup yang umumnya dialami oleh individu pada usia dewasa awal, terutama saat dihadapkan pada tekanan terhadap pencapaian hidup, pekerjaan, dan ekspektasi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan utntuk menggambarkan dinamika quarter life crisis yang dialami oleh pemuda Jawa yang belum bekerja. pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus digunakan untuk memahami fenomena subjektif para partisipan. data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga informan berusia 18-29 tahun yang berdomisili di Jawa Tengah serta belum memiliki pekerjaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemuda Jawa yang belum bekerja cenderung mengalami gejala quarter life crisis berupa kecemasan terhadap masa depan, perasaan tidak berguna, tekanan sosial dari keluarga dan lingkungan, serta kebingungan terhadap arah hidup. Apalagi budaya Jawa yang patriarki menambah tekanan bagi para informan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa quarter life crisis pada pemuda Jawa memiliki karakteristik khas yang dipengaruhi oleh konteks budaya dan kondisi sosial ekonomi. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi para penegmbang intervensi psikologis yang lebih kontekstual serta memperkaya kajian lintas budaya mengenai perkembangan dewasa awal.
