Contexte et objectif : Dans un contexte où les méthodes pédagogiques actives gagnent en popularité, un jeu d’évasion médical a été développé afin de soutenir la révision des résidents en médecine familiale à l’approche de leur examen de certification. L’étude visait ici à évaluer qualitativement son impact pédagogique à trois mois. Méthodes : L’étude repose sur une méthode qualitative descriptive utilisant des groupes de discussion auprès de 15 résidents, trois mois après l’activité et deux mois après l’examen. Les participants ont été divisés en trois groupes mixtes de cinq personnes. L’analyse a suivi l’approche thématique de Braun & Clarke, en s’appuyant sur le modèle de Kirkpatrick pour catégoriser les impacts en trois niveaux : réactions, apprentissages et comportements. Résultats : Réactions : Les participants ont unanimement exprimé une appréciation du jeu, malgré quelques irritants techniques. Apprentissages : L’activité a surtout favorisé la consolidation des acquis, la validation des connaissances, la participation active et une meilleure rétention via l’immersion narrative. La diversité des thèmes abordés a été saluée. Comportements : L’activité a permis d’observer la collaboration, la répartition naturelle des tâches, l’émergence de leadership et une réflexion sur les rôles en équipe. Plusieurs participants ont rapporté des effets indirects sur leur étude en vue de l’examen. Conclusion : Ce jeu d’évasion pédagogique a généré un fort engagement des résidents, consolidé les apprentissages et favorisé la dynamique de groupe. Toutefois, les limites méthodologiques (biais possibles, petit échantillon, dépendant du contexte) appellent à la prudence dans l’interprétation. L’intégration d’évaluations pré/post, d’un groupe contrôle et d’une analyse plus poussée de la charge cognitive sont suggérées pour de futures études.
