La Commission de vrit et rconciliation du Canada (CVR, 2015) a mis en lumire l'importance de l'enseignement de l'histoire dans le processus de rconciliation, particulirement dans le contexte postcolonial du Canada et du Qubec.En rponse aux nombreux appels l'action de la CVR, il apparait essentiel de s'intresser au cours d'Histoire du Qubec et du Canada (HQC) de troisime et quatrime secondaire (MEES, 2017), notamment la manire dont il est enseign dans les communauts autochtones.L'histoire peut reprsenter un sujet sensible, surtout lorsqu'enseign une population historiquement marginalise (Moisan, 2019), d'o l'importance pour les enseignants de s'adapter leurs lves.Selon Lvesque (2016), c'est souvent l'enseignant qui va donner une teinte spcifiquement autochtone un programme, travers ses interventions en classe.Cette recherche vise identifier comment les enseignants d'histoire, dans une communaut autochtone non conventionne, adaptent ou particularisent le programme HQC en troisime secondaire.Pour rpondre cette question, une recherche qualitative descriptive utilisant des entretiens semi-dirigs et de l'observation en classe a t mene dans deux coles de la nation innue.Les donnes recueillies ont permis d'identifier diffrentes stratgies de particularisation, notamment l'addition de contenus, l'intgration d'exprience et l'action sociale (Moisan, 2019).Celles-ci touchaient entre autres les concepts de culture, de territoire et de politique.ix Plusieurs obstacles ont galement t identifis, dont certains sont lis au programme HQC, tandis que d'autres ne le sont pas et touchent des aspects plus gnraux.Cette tude permet de souligner l'importance de soutenir les enseignants dans leurs dmarches de particularisation, et suggre diffrentes pistes pour de futures recherches portant sur l'enseignement de l'histoire nationale en contexte autochtone.
