Abstract
2008年3月,大阪教育大学附属高等学校平野校舎はカナダ国際交流研修旅行を実施した。本校が2007年3月にカナダバンクーバーにあるセント・ジョージ校の生徒11名と教員4名を受け入れ,ホームステイ及び学校交流を実施したことが契機となっている。本校の齋藤正俊氏(現副校長)とジム・コジマ氏(カナダリッチモンド市姉妹都市委員)の人間関係が礎となっている。私は,研修旅行で事前学習と引率を担当した。帰国後,参加生徒のアンケート結果によると,「緊張したけれど楽しかった。」「考えさせられた。」「参加して本当に良かった。」等の感想が寄せられた。研修旅行で生徒は何を体験し,どのように感じ,何を学んだのかを報告する。|Fifteen students visited St. George's School and stayed with families in Vancouver, Canada forthree days. The homestay gave the students to opportunity to understand the speaker's intentions and express themselves in English. Students could further understand the ways of life and cultures of Japan and Canada. Moreover, the experience helped the students foster a positive attitude toward communication and deepen their international understanding.
