Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

|In recent years, physical education departments of higher education are on the decline and the reformation of them is progressing steadily in the U.S.A. and Canada. The purpose of this case study is to make the present condition of the reformation of physical education departments of universities in North America clear. The finding and discussions on the following topics are presented in this paper: 1) West Coast-reduction of PE departments; Oregon State University (OR) and University of Washington (WA), 2) Name change from the School of P.E. and Recreation to the School of Human Kinetics; University of British Columbia (Canada), 3) physical education as a department of school of education; Human Movement course at Boston University (MA) 4) sports activities as an elective subject ; Department of Physical Education & Dance at Boston University (MA)

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
